From Baden's town centre, head towards the Schlossberg and walk steadily uphill through the old town lanes. Follow the signposted path towards the ruin. It leads up a forest track with steps and switchbacks to the Ruine Stein, from where a wide view stretches over the city and the Limmat valley. The ascent takes about 15 to 25 minutes on foot.
