From the car park at the Ebenalp cable car, take the cable car up to the top station and from there follow the hiking trail towards Schäfler. After about 20–30 minutes of gentle ascent, the view opens up over the impressive mountain landscape of the Alpstein. The narrow, stony path winds along the mountain pines, while in the background the snow-capped peaks glow beneath the deep blue sky.
