Bergün in the Albula Valley is a small Graubünden village with an exceptional claim to fame: a law here regulates photography of the village for tourist reasons – enacted as a joke but which became world-famous as the «Bergün Photography Law». The village has thereby attracted more attention to itself than through its genuine attraction: it sits at the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Albula-Bernina railway route.

The Albula Railway Museum in Bergün is one of the finest railway museums in Switzerland and documents the history of the construction of the Albula line. The village itself has an intact historic centre with sgraffito houses and lies at the foot of the Albula Pass. In winter, the Preda–Bergün toboggan run is one of the longest and most famous in Switzerland.

Bergün is on the Rhaetian Railway (Albula line) and reachable from Chur in around 1 hour. By car, drive via Tiefencastel into the Albula Valley. Parking is available in the village.
