Diavolezza at 2'978 metres is one of the most impressive viewpoints in the Alps: from the mountain station, a panorama of glaciers, rocky ridges and four-thousanders unfolds – with the Piz Palü (3'900 m), the Piz Bernina and the Pers Glacier in the foreground. The view has an immediacy that high mountain terrain usually only reveals after long tours.

In winter Diavolezza is part of the Engadin St. Moritz ski area and is known for the famous Diavolezza descent over the Pers Glacier – one of the finest glacier runs in the Alps. In summer the mountain station provides the starting point for glacier tours and high-alpine routes into the Bernina group. The mountain restaurant on the summit plateau is open year-round.

Diavolezza is reached by cable car from the valley station Diavolezza on the Bernina Pass road. The valley station is accessible by Rhaetian Railway (Bernina line) from St. Moritz in around 25 minutes. Tickets: diavolezza.ch
