Klosters in the Prättigau is the more elegant, quieter counterpart to Davos – both resorts are connected via the Parsenn ski area, but Klosters has preserved its village character and its international loyal clientele – including the British royal family. The village at around 1'191 metres combines alpine character with discreet luxury.

The Gotschnagrat and the Madrisa area open up a ski area linked via the Parsenn plateau to Davos. In summer the Prättigau is an excellent hiking region with tours into the Verstanklaatal and up to the Sulzfluh. The Serneus spring walk when the cherry trees are in blossom is one of the finest seasonal experiences in the region. Klosters has its own rail connection, making it easily accessible without a car.

Klosters is reachable by Rhaetian Railway from Chur in around 1 hour. By car, take the cantonal road through the Prättigau from Landquart. Parking is available in the village.
