The Flüela Pass at 2'383 metres connects Davos with the Lower Engadine and is known for its spectacular high-mountain landscape – at the summit sits the Schwarzsee, a small dark mountain lake that gives the pass its particular character. The route is especially popular with motorcyclists and cyclists.

The pass road is one of the main connections between northern Graubünden and the Engadine. The descent on the Lower Engadine side into the Susasca valley is of exceptional wildness. In winter the pass is closed; the Vereina Tunnel railway replaces the road connection in winter. The pass typically opens from late May.

The Flüela Pass is reachable by car from Davos or Susch in the Lower Engadine. The drive from Davos to Susch takes around 40 minutes. By train in winter, use the Vereina Tunnel (Landquart–Sagliains), which runs year-round.
